Kareena Kapoor Khan goes Regal for Rohit Bal at LFW16 Finale

Lakme Fashion week 2016 Spring Summer has been a terrific one. The end of the LFW Finale was a spectacular one and none other than Rohit Bal, the Ace Designer made it grand.

The ethnic inspired “Kroshini” collection showcased the simplicity of shapes with an evocative play of the Indian dimensional forms. Bal’s collection echoed across the outfits, creating interesting silhouettes with hand-woven artisanal details and tailoring focused on the Organic Fabrics.

The motifs hand-woven in metallic and silver thread in various patterns the artisan way gave the “Kroshini” collection a traditional yet contemporary look, with all the versatility.

During our interaction with Bal he quoted “The collection is called ‘Koroshini’, which in Urdu means illuminate. For me this whole association with Lakme, Kareena and the whole team is been about illumination” .
