This Post is dedicated to all the ladies who are Mothers and “Like Mothers” to their near and dear ones…
I dedicate this solely to my Grandma… In the walks of life we often tend to forget our Grand parents & someone who actually binds the whole family together & is a Mother in a real sense …. It is also your GRANDMOTHER… your true Mother !
Be it your Mother or Your grandmother… please love them and take care of them because they too are growing with you … “growing old”

For all those times you held me, thank you, I love you.
For all those times you put me to sleep, thank you , I love you.
For all those times you scolded me, thank you, I love you.
There are no words strong enough for me to use, to tell you how I feel. You made me into what I am today. You shaped me to be complete. And for you, I know I am perfect. You always told me that I will be great because of my skills. But you never took credit for the fact that you are responsible for those skills.
For all those times you cooked for me, thank you, I love you.
For all those times you took care of my wounds, thank you, I love you.
For all those nights you stayed by my side because I had nightmares, thank you, I love you.
You see I would not be here if there was not for you. Do you remember all the wrong choices I almost made? If you hadn’t stopped me, my world would have been so different. But I had a goal. To make you proud to be my mother as I am proud to be you child!
For all those times you cleaned my clothes, thank you, I love you.
For all those times you smiled with my drawings, thank you, I love you.
For all those times you told me to wear a jacket because it’s cold outside, thank you, I love you.
You see, I know that no one will ever love me as much as you do. You have always been there. Every time I messed up you where there to pick me up. You never left me alone. Not even when I deserved it. Because to you I was never a failure. I was always your child and you loved me.
For all those times you stayed up waiting for me, thank you, I love you.
For all those time you came to pick me up from school, thank you, I love you.
For all those times you talked me up, thank you, I love you.
I remember that time when I wanted to grow up to be a superhero. And you said that if I try really hard then I will be. But I must always come home for diner. Well guess what. I do feel like a superhero. And I come home for diner every night.
For all those times you showed me you love me in public and I felt like an idiot, thank you, I love you.
For all those times you made my bed, even if it was my responsibility, thank you, I love you.
For all those times you helped me with my homework although it was not easy for you, thank you, I love you.
Someone told me once that if I make a difference in just on person’s life then I am a hero. And I will always remember you telling me that from the day I was born I have been making the difference in your life. I did not become a superhero. You made me one!
For all those time you told me that every person is different but at the same time we are all the same, thank you, I love you.
For all those times you tried to teach me to be polite to everyone, thank you, I love you.
For all those times you made snacks for me and my friends, even when we made a mess of the house, thank you, I love you.
I still can remember you crying when I went off to college. They were tears of happiness. And you could not stop. And then a week later I returned home and you acted as if you had not seen me in years. You were so happy. And I felt so loved.
That is all I ever wanted. To see you happy. And I am sorry if I ever made you sad. I would give every thing to take that back.
I don’t think there are enough words in all the dictionaries of all the languages so that I can express what I really feel.
I think all I want to say is, Thank You and I Love You!
